We partner with local builders, hardware stores, and timber yards to source reclaimed timber when we can—so each piece varies naturally and teaches kids about real-world sustainability.
Loved by educators & kids alike!
Becky S, 3/4 Kindergarten Teacher
Our kindergarten engaged with Hammer and Heart with our 3-year-old group. Tom was friendly and inclusive to all children involved in his woodworking educational experience. Many of our children have never come across real tools and Tom was able to show all the children what they are used for and was able to engage them safely with the equipment and tools.
Lucy D, 4 years old
"I was excited to press the drill and hear it make spinning sounds. The hammers were loud so we put on our ear muffs. Tom showed us how to put our hands so they are safe."
Dani Y, Educator
The kids have spent all day painting and crafting up their little trucks and have asked if we can do it all over it again. A big hit for kids and the teachers too! Loved the sustainability piece - super important to teach at a young age!
